the accommodations and staff nailed it. 5 1/2 stars. i hope their friendliness isn't just this nice because they just opened their doors. It was one of the best stays i have ever had. the rooms are very tastefully decorated and everything is BRAND NEW. Highly recommend staying here if you want to do it right.
Pros: clean, new, nice, roomy
Cons: the water in the jacuzzi wouldnt get very hot, it was warm at best. no screens on windows so insects got in.

This is a very nice property and I love the location. It allows you to walk all over town. Near the aquarium too. The rooms with a view are the best. Very beautiful hotel, great service.

We stayed here the first week it was open. It is a very beautiful hotel. The guest services were very kind and helpful. We had a great room with a view. It is located right in the heart of Monterey where you can walk everywhere.
